All the food served at OSBC is home made from scratch, right here in Elphin! After all, Jenny and Joey have a catering company, and Joey is a chef, for goodness sake! Every year Ivan Rosenberg says: “the best camp food, anywhere!“

Students and staff gather for a family style meal three times a day with table service in our outdoor pavillion. To keep our students fueled and well hydrated, we have ample snacks, tea, coffee and beverages available throughout the day. We are able to accommodate any food allergies and happy to provide delicious vegan and vegetarian options!
We ask students not to bring any food or snacks to camp as many campers have serious allergies, and to prevent wildlife from approaching tents.
Here are some sample menus:
Breakfast – hot, fresh breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, granola, oatmeal, cold cereal, fresh baked muffins or croissants, toast, peanut butter, jams, milk (dairy, soy and almond) and, orange juice
Lunch – Homemade soups, fresh hearty sandwiches, curried veggie pies, chicken caesar wraps, quesadillas, always a fresh salad.
Dinner – Greek chicken or tofu skewers, hearty vegetarian chili, enchiladas, gumbo, always whole grains, always a fresh salad.
